Fouress
have developed reflux valves in two varieties
- Single door Butterfly type Slanting Disc Check Valve.
- Free acting Multi-door Swing Check Valve which does not require any
external source of power.

Design Fea tures
- The body is spherical shaped consisting of two halves sectioned at an
angle.
- The two body halves inlet and outlet casting bolted at centre flange.
- The inlet body casting has the flow guides and seats for door.
- The faces of body seat and door seats are provided with gun metal
seat.
- The door castings are supported on stainless steel shafts.
- The shaft run in self lubricating bearings. An inspection cover is
provided in the outlet casting.

Features |

- Short Travel – the valve seats are inclined thus providing shorter
travel and providing stops to limits the door travel.
- Low friction – provided by self lubricated bearings and complete
absence of shaft seats
- High closing moment – provided by weighted door tips. This ensures
that doors begin to close at the earliest possible moment.
- Double eccentric disc mating with a tilted cone eccentric seat ring.
- Replaceable seat and disc ring providing metal to metal contact

When valve opens , oil from the cylinder will be pushed
inside pressurized accumulator through flow control valve. By adjusting
flow control valve and nitrogen pressure in the accumulator, the opening
time can be fine tuned even at site.

While closing the oil from the cylinder will be pushed
inside non-pressurized oil reservoir through flow control valve. The
closing time can be controlled by adjusting flow control valve.

The eccentricity provided in the disc will ensure that
the self opening and closing characteristics are achieved.
