Fouress Engineering (India) Limited, is a part of Fouress Group of Companies, one of the leading manufactures of Industries Valves for over 40 Years in India.

We were the first to introduce 100% gas tight Isolators (High Integrity Dampers) to the Indian Power Industry way back in 1977 and have the distinction of having supplied around 5000 gas-tight isolators (dampers) of various design and sizes up to 6000 mm x 6000 mm to thermal, Gas Turbine to Thermal, Gas Turbine based Combined Cycle Power Plants, Steel Mills, Cement Plants, Fertilizer Plants, Refineries etc.

We have supplied around 100 Diverter Flap Valves and 200 Guillotine Isolators for installation at various sites in India. We are the first in this country to supply the Biggest Diverter and Guillotines of size 5900 mm x 5900 mm to NTPC, Faridabad Combined Cycle Power Project for Siemens V94.2 Turbines through BHEL, Hardware and the same is a land mark event in Fouress history.

We had earlier supplied Diverters to Essar Power, GIPCL and NTPC Kavamkulam for GE Frame 9E Gas Turbines. In fact, the supply of Kavamkulam project was the beginning of our supplies to NTPC and we are the only Indian manufactures to have been qualifies by NTPC for the supply of Diverters and Guillotines for Large Gas Turbines.

Highlights of a few major projects executed by Fouress:

• Supply of 5600 mm x 5600 mm & 3900 mm x 3900 mm sizes Diverter Flap valves of BHEL, Hyderabad for TNEB (Kavamkulam, Kovil Kallapal Perungalam & Kuttalam Power Projects) for GE Frame 9E and 6FA Machines.
• Supply of 4 Nos. 4700 mm x 4700 mm Diverter Flap Valves and 4 Nos 3700 mm x 9000 mm Flap units for NTPC Simhadri Project through BHEL, Trichy.
• Supply of Nos & 8 Nos 4700 mm x 4700 mm size Diverter Flap Valves to BHEL, Trichy to NTPC, Simhadri STPP & Talcher STPP Projects respectively.
• Supply, erection and Commissioning of Complete Exhaust System and the main stack for a Siemens V94.2 A Gs Turbine supplied by Ansaldo of Italy to BAPL, Samalkot Project. The Exhaust System includes in its scope for supply of Diverter, Guillotine of 5600 mm x 5600mm and the Silencer apart from stack.
• Flap Another export order executed through L & T for (168 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant) supply, erection and commissioning of complete Gas Turbine Exhaust System consisting of Diverter Flap Valves, Guillotine Isolator, Expansion Joints, Diffuser, Intermediate Duct, Expansion Joints, Bypass Stack, Duct Extension, Bypass Stack Silencer and Support Structure for GE Frame 9E Gas Turbine at AES Kalinitissa, Sri Lanka.

For the last 10 Years, we are exposed to and entrenched in competitive and quality conscious markets, supplying goods to USA, Japan, Middle East, Far East,. Australia, Singapore and countries as far as Panama, Chile etc. Today Fouress is one of the approved suppliers of GE, ABB Siemens, Foster Wheeler, MHI, Tomen, and Bechtel within the country and world wide. In fact Siemens, Germany have awarded Fouress the Contractor of the year 1998 for the successful erection of Diverter & Guillotine at Paguthan Combined Cycle Power Plant nuilt by Siemens AG.

Fouress got into the GE Global sourcing network with an order from GE Nuovo Pignone, Italy for the supply of 3 Exhaust Systems behind Frame 6 Gas Turbines to Reliance, jamnagar. Following this we have supplied 8 Nos. Exhaust systems for Frame 5 units to GE Nuovo pignone for another project in Algeria. Subsequently, we got qualified by GE, AEP in Houston, USA for the supply of 50 pieces of Bleed Vent Silencers for Aero derivative LM 6000 Gas Turbines and 40 pieces of Air Intake Dampers every year.
