Hot Blast Valve

 

 

 

 


Effectively used to isolate the blast furnace from hot blast stove in integrated steel plants and pig iron
making facilities using stoves. Also are used as a stove shuf-off valve and back draughting valve. For a burner
shut-off valve the same design is adopted with wedge arrangement to achieve isolation of gas lines
from stoves.

Cooling : The water cooling of the body & disc is designed to minimize the heat loss and to maintain the skin temperature of the base materials at an appropriate level.
